You're probably right. In your routers wireless settings, you'll see either one of two options: protocol or mode. If you see protocol, set it to 'g'. If you see mode, "up to 54mbps". This will offer best compatibility.
If that doesn't fix it, probably not a computability issue.

For what it's worth, I have seen a huge improvement in you skills with English since you started posting here. Some of your early posts were quite hard to follow but now it's much easier to understand what you are saying.

I learned most of the english language (except grammar) on the internet.
But still, sometimes, I write "ist" instead of "is", or nouns with a capital letter, especially when browsing here and in another, german forum.

e-yeah, i'm learning something that should be help me specially english, even this way doesn't much help me to make me smart in school, though.
