Maybe an animation where you bounce shells on the end of the barrels a few times, and then crack open the gun on the last bounce to load them - sort of like a "jumping off of a diving board" type animation?

Or instead of removing the shells and replacing them for new ones, when he cracks open the SSG, remove the gun, switch the shells, insert SSG onto shells.

Brilliant.

These are beautiful! Will anyone be trying to make the Doom 2016 Monsters as well ? I Like what the Zion Mod is doing, and respect their work, but i like the old school feel of the Doom 2016 weapons when they're in Sprite form like this. It would be rad to see the same applied to the 2016 versions of the monsters (if possible)... and then possibly get some of the most talented mappers (whom have the time) and construct the levels (if possible - although i think i read somewhere it may not be possible, idk though)

Also if people are doing a full on Doom 4 in Doom 2 recreation... the sound track is on the interwebz... (hint, hint)

And that is not all. Author of the mod is going to take Neccronixis sprites for v4 of his mod.

BTW, I have ideas about Neccronixis own mod with his sprites, to be precise, it is about the upgrade system:
It's like in Guncuster but with DOOM 2016 style. Each time when you perform the Glory kill/fatality, from enemy corpses falls "UAC Points" apart HP and Armor bonuses. With "UAC Points" you may buy a weapon upgrade in special menu. Also in the same menu you may buy ammo and small HP/Armor bonuses for doomguy. From each enemy will be fall different number of points. For example - from imp 5 UAC Points and from Spider Mastermind 1500 UAC Points.

That sounds like an awesome idea! I mean the new doom uses an upgrade system either way!! have you all seen this i assume? adding onto this upgrade system would be awesome! https://youtu.be/sZoAYvFC9SU

Looks unbalanced and overpowered. Missiles and explosive shells look very high damaging, considering the enemies have their (somewhat) original health.

It looks like he's spamming his Rocket2 Actor 6 times...

Also just curious, what's the ETA for the sprite update?
