Well, I haven't been working on any of my Doom projects for quite a while because I have a lot of issues in real-life and it hasn't been making me feel creative... I just haven't had the mood to sit in front of the computer and do any game modding.

I still plan to finish RotD but it'll probably take a while. I might have to go back to the drawing board and redesign it so that it actually has a chance of completion. I'd rather have it completed than making it so ambitious and then nothing gets done...

So to answer your question, basically, no I haven't been working on the game (or anything Doom related for that matter). But I'm definitely not cancelling anything.

I hope to get my creative vibe (and free time) back soon...
This is a shame, because with EVERYONE MAKING FUCKING ZOMBIE MODS I was looking forward to this one the most.

This looks pretty fun. Thanks for bumping it, or I wouldn't have seen it. I hope Nash gets around to finish it, and agree that it's important not to set too high ambitions. It's sad when a good project doesn't get finished because it was trying to achieve too much.

sounds good! will it be based around George Romeros Dead series? do the zombies bite you once, and you are pretty much f'ed and will turn into one soon? do zombies only die from a shot to the head?

or is it more of a return of the living dead style? where zombies can only die from being burnt and theres cures from being bitten?

and dont say ITS ORIGINAL because the blood zombies saying MOORE BRAINS.. BRAINS comes from Tarman in return of the living dead 1 2 and 5 and also the misc zombies in that film, zombies never spoke until that movie and thats where they got the idea from also the first blood level and the zombie canisters are from return of the living dead 1! the sign for the funeral home is the exact name and looks exactly the same, with the HELL in blood on the sign..

also George Romero created undead people being zombies [before it was just slaves in africa] with the line THERES GOING TO BE A 100 ZOMBIES IN HERE WHEN THAT DOOR OPENS on 1977 dawn of the dead, before that in night of the living dead the zombies were just called THE LIVING DEAD.

It sounds like an Invasion map that only has zombies as the baddies.Maybe the map will be bigger than the stock invasion map.

This is fun but we can all agree you will have to be in the right mood other wise it gets boring and repetetive!
might i suggest adding a chainsaw ^^;

also i'd suggest changing the blood zombies with random different zombies maybe use them aswell, but i'd rather you use sort of realistic style sprites that look more human sorta like the old 96 doom mod Zombies they used real people which they tookphotos of them self in every frame to make sprites, but better then those ones!

That's the problem...there aren't many zombie's out there whose primary attack is melee.The only other ones I've seen is the green Zsec from scoredoom and the civilian zombies on doom 2.5

EDIT:I'd love to see that whole gore effect released as a new Nash gore mod.(Wink,Hint ,Nudge)

maybe a bit laggy!

oh i'd love to see some zombies get up and zombie dogs XD and not some wolf/sod dog edit with a few blood splats on its face
i want a real zombie dog! wouldnt that be cool to see? a skinless dog legging it about a doom map XD

Night-day switch, Score 4 killings.... these kind of options 4 ZDoom are really rare to find :D
was it hard to do them with ACS???
