Looking good. Putting a cybie next to him is a good idea to compare the style as well, you should try to get softer, less dark shadows so that the outlines are less defined and blend better in the background.metalpiss wrote:I'm making this big guy:

Cool. Don't forget you can make hi-res sprites and scale them down in decorate to make them look nicer close up, unless you're going for that doomy look

aye, I know, and I did that on this monster. But I didn't render at that much higher of a resolution, it's about twice as big as the cyberdemon's sprites. I'm afraid that making it look too smooth might not fit in too well.
