The reaver replacement deals no damage, and the weapons are extremely over powered which in my opinion ruins the balance of Strife. Also the Inquisitor replacement has 100,000 health points. Is that really necessary?
Actually, playing this further convinces me that this completely ruins strife. No Sigil? I can beat up the spectres? What? This is disappointing.

I'm with you. This is just replacing the inventive weaponry of Strife with redundant bullet sprayers influenced by Xbox Call of Duty games with unfitting 'homages' to older "cool" games probably made before the author's existence.
I almost lost it when I heard the Diablo town music. The facepalm. Is inclusion of that supposed to be a tribute? Is it supposed to mean "see I am a real retro gamer"? Whatever the meaning it was, it didn't fit and nearly triggered my "HIT F10 AND DELETE IT" instinct
oh and nice job stealing the bts-x hud i'm also sure essel will appreciate that.

The Diablo theme were only used in town, aka the hub, just like Tristram is the hub in Diablo.
Tiberium know about the HUD, he simply forgot to put the original authors name in there. If you scroll some pages back you see this.
I don't think this is THE mod for Strife but cut him some slack.

k after almost two weeks of working on this im back with a small change log
Changelog : 2.0
removed the BTSX HUD and swapped to Blue Shadow's NC HUD not because i had to but because i thought it was time for a change
Fixed the Damage on the Reaver Replacement
Replaced the Bishop with the Terminator
Replaced the Loremaster with a generic Cloaked Figure
Replaced Project Angel's DarkInquisitor with The Hells Battery by LWM
Replaced the Programmer with the Arachnophyte because science (ok im done bieng a smartass)
Reduced the inquisitor replacements hp from 100,000 to 25,000
Reduced The Entity's Hp from 300,000 to 90,000
as for the weapons i havent made very many if any at all changes because the power balance i work from is that the higher its slot the more powerful it is

What do you mean by that? You mean those minigun guys that kill you super fast, and react very quickly? because they still do that... seriously without having the rocketlauncher or minigun those guys are insanely powerful, take this from someone who played all the build games, doom 2 got the balance right for those kinds of guys.. check out their DPS.TiberiumSoul wrote: Fixed the Damage on the Reaver Replacement
Although they would still be tough and you'd still get you shot without a high powered gun.

While I have been absurdly busy with Insanity's Requiem I kinda forgot this project even existed and had it not been for Cire's bump it probably would ended up that way. All other things aside, I'm shipping Insanity's Requiem off to backburner central because in all honesty there are all kinds of mods out there for doom but very few for others like Strife, Heretic, Hexen and all the others out there and while as of v2.0 the game was beatable there were many unfinished things that didn't get added. And with v2.1 I plan on adding all these things (now finished after a long night of coding and hot cocoa) into the project because let's face it, Strife really doesn't get enough love.

Nice to see this back from the dead because, as you say, Strife et al don't get enough love.

Thanks! I'll see if I can't get this ready to go by tomorrow also quick poll here should the robots (sentinel, stalker, crusader) have damage on their deaths cause if you played 2.0 you'll know that the robots he'll even the turret exploded violently on death but they didn't damage the player only the other npcs so that I'm asking is: should the player suffer from this as well?
