So, I've noticed that gzdoom crashes when it encounters music in xmi format, such as found from shadowcaster. I know that zdoom had no issue with them, but gzdoom hangs trying to load them.
Demo pk3, tested in heretic.

This was never tested, due to lack of content.

Re: Gzdoom (all versions) crashes reading XMI music
I'm guessing the crash is Windows-only, because on Linux it's simply silent.

Fixed. Please note that the fix is in ZMusic repository.
The given sample now sounds identical to me in GZDoom and Slade. Although, it would be nice to verify the change with more XMI files.

I tested some XMI's (from Ultima Underworld, Lode Runner: The Legend Returns and some other games) and they all seem to play fine on my end with the fix in ZMusic.
