Remixed midi music - any exist?

Post by Enjay »

I'm trying to find if there are any remixed midi-format Doom tunes. I know that there are loads of MP3 (etc) remixes of the Doom music, but I'm not aware of any of the original game tunes having alternative versions done in midi format. Do any exists and, if so, where can they be obtained?

Thanks.

There's Silent Zora's Project Doom.

Jimmy has made a few remixes and mashups:

PRIMEVAL made a few. Look in particular at the soundtrack for Plutonia Revisited. Speaking of which, you can get additional remixes of "Nobody told me about id" from Plutonia 2 (by Jimmy) and Plutonia MIDI Pack (by Bucket).

Additionally, and more humorously, you have the various experiments done with the original MIDIs. There were a few inverted/flipped MIDI (on /idgames), and in major scale.

Finally, while searching for some of the links above, I found this which does feature a MIDI pack.

Lots to check out there. Now that I see them listed, I was aware of some of them, but by no means all. Thank you.
