Hm... from the documentation I've found for RMB, it seems that what I'm looking to do can't be done with REJECT. I'm looking to have enemies with full motor function that won't attack the player unless the player attacks them, which I thought I could do with the deaf flag and REJECT. Any ideas how ...

ROFL @ what Mr. Tee said...! :P Ninja: Umm, Daedalus SHOULDN'T have taken ~4 years (or howeverlong it really took) to complete; that's not normal; if TeamTNT actually stats working on Eternal 4 then it really sholdn't take more than 2 years to complete, if they at least move at a normal pace. Who ...

Re: Lowering sector count to improve performance
The main problem: To make windows on the houses, I used small invisible rectangular sectors, and I just added the windows as mid textures, placing them with y offsets. I think this is causing most of the performance issues and lowered FPS rates. Translucent textures yes? If so, that's the real ...

Yup, unfortuantely. If someone's willing to redo the WAD/resource handling code I may be more willing, though. ;) But really, I can see why Randy said ZETH was not a good editor to make a new one from, code-wise. It's so ugly and intermingled and messy.. that even when you know what it's doing you ...

Unfortunately not. My time has been stolen by another, highly anticipated (by me), project of mine. Working on the wad handling stuff, though, is really daunting since I a) want to redo all of it, and b) want to do it right, so I've been procrastinating. :/ Still procrastinating? Yes, time ...

If the monster attacks while in the void, ZDOOM crashes. :( What kind of attack is it using? How is it related to being in the void? I would expect this is a distance attack (I am not the one that did the testing however). The tester confirmed that the "attack" crash occurs only in void. I will ask ...

We are trying to create a "ghost" creature that will follow the player no matter what the obstacles, but we have encountered a killer problem: If the monster attacks while in the void, ZDOOM crashes. :( I don't know if you can consider this a bug, but I am wondering if there is a way to prevent the ...
