Compiles fine, but when I try to open a level it crashes. I should probably point out that I'm using 64-bit linux. admin@nescientia:/opt/slade$ gdb ./slade GNU gdb 6.4.90-debian Copyright (C) 2006 Free Software Foundation, Inc. Thanks, works great. So does anyone know if it's possible to compile for amd64?

Any way to compile this on x86_64 linux? If not, can someone (Chris) upload the 32-bit binary somewhere so I can download it?

Probably none of the above. Those aren't the purpose of CVN or CVS repositories.

There's probably some way of compiling the gcc version on OS X, but I don't think it would be easy. Then again, I don't know anything about Macs.

Right now my linux desktop is out of commission due to a faulty video card. Once I receive the replacement, I'll fix the flac dependency. I'll try addressing the other issues that linda and lintian whine about as well.

Heh, I watched it and it didn't seem as bad as the actual game. This trailer is far superior, though, because do-tims kicks ass.

Oh, I may have made the depedencies a little too strict. This is the first dpkg I've made, so I was kind of learning as I was going. I also based the deps off of what I had installed on Ubuntu Hoary 5.04. I upgraded to Breezy last night, and I don't know what as changed. I'll take a look at it and ...

2.0.97 Debian Package

I used Chris' binaries to make a Debian package. It should work on any x86 installation of Debian or Ubuntu so long as you have the prerequisites (it will let you know what they are).

snd_buffersize doesn't make any difference. Increasing the sample rate to max actually decreased the delay to where it's almost bearable, but it didn't fix the music. The music is all slow and echoey; it's hard to describe. Maybe when I have some free time, I'll try switching everything over to ALSA ...
