That command is obvious, I somehow knew it when I got zdoom

The -iwad parameter takes full path names too though. Remember to use " " or the short name if the path has spaces in it.

I want a command line parameter for use in batch files to bypass the iwad selector. It could also be used to point to the location of an iwad somewhere else like in C:\hexen\
As for bypassing the IWAD selector thats what -iwad is for. As for using other folders, edit your .ini file.

As Graf said, it already exists. Has done for years. Works just fine too. Did you try it?

It didn't really exist. Randy merely saw this topic, jumped in his time machine, and added the feature to the Doom engine by manipulating John Romero's brainwaves.

Simple.

IIRC I think thats what ZDooms internal launcher (the IWAD selector) uses when it finds more than one IWAD.

Not only that, but if you had ANY Zdoom launcher, or even looked at the ZDoom config file, you'd see it exists!

Guess what?

It exists!

-Iwad parameter

There should be an -iwad parameter to select an Iwad and specify it's location so you do not need a copy of all 4 iwads (doom, doom2, tnt, plutonia) for each engine. At least zdoom of course.
