Problem with using mods like Brutal Doom (and maybe hdoom)

Forum rules
Contrary to popular belief, we are not all-knowing-all-seeing magical beings!

If you want help you're going to have to provide lots of info. Like what is your hardware, what is your operating system, what version of GZDoom/LZDoom/whatever you're using, what mods you're loading, how you're loading it, what you've already tried for fixing the problem, and anything else that is even remotely relevant to the problem.

We can't magically figure out what it is if you're going to be vague, and if we feel like you're just wasting our time with guessing games we will act like that's what you're really doing and won't help you.

This error means that you use an old version of gzdoom.pk3. Some of these mods seem to come with old engine versions - you have to remove these engine files then.

Problem with using mods like Brutal Doom (and maybe hdoom)

When I try to load up Brutal Doom, I get an error:

Script error, "gzdoom.pk3:mapinfo/common.txt" line 378:

and afterwards it says this:

newconsolefont.hex not found

and nothing happens. How do I fix this?

Edit: So I realised that this problem occurs for certain mods that add particular textures, like Brutal Doom, La Tailor Girl and HDoom. Still don't know how to fix it tho...
