It's your monitor combined with your graphics adapter. I had the same problem with an Intel chipset at work; it would force certain refresh rates at certain resolutions, and it just so happened that 640x480 was one that would put the picture halfway off the screen. Old CRT + Questionable Graphics Chipset.

In fact, even with my Radeon at home, oddness still happens with different games. The card keeps forcing 60 Hz refresh rates, which has a different effect depending on the resolution.

I did. At 320, 640, and 800 I expeienced bubblevision. Thats why posted the bug. I enabled nView and it fixed that.

Try other resolutions/refresh rates.

Note that this only happens with ZDoom, My monitor is a 17" and I can put it at whatever resolution I please in Windows (up to 1152). But I'll try playing wih nView

I'm not sure this is a problem with ZDoom, so why did you post it on Bugs? That being said, there are a few software solutions to this (so I've heard, this includes nVidia's nView Properties). I'm not sure how reliable these are.

First off let me say this: My monitor is ghey. Thats why I paid 100 bucks for it.

Can anyone help me fix my monitors bubblevision (round on sides) I have to run ZDoom in a window because my monitor is only normal in 1024 when playing ZDoom.
