This may not be a bug as I think it has always been this way but if it can be improved, it would be welcome.
When coloured fog is used, under certain conditions, decals can look odd. Try the attached file and you should see that in the normally coloured area, the decal just fades away but in the foggy area it becomes a big bright splotch on the wall before fading. It's more obvious in GZdoom because whilst it is in flight, the projectile is not affected by the fog wheras it is in Zdoom.

I think that I have included everything needed in the file to show the effect. I know that some decal resources may be missing but the important stuff is there.
