Ok, in that case I'll close it. I don't have a corresponding map file anymore anyway so I couldn't do much about it even if I wanted to.

The crash report gave far more useful information. That version of GZDoom is outdated beyond outdating.

Should probably check to see if the issue still exists in the SVN builds.

To see if the crash still happens.

These builds are based on newer (but as yet not released in an official build) code. The issue may have already been fixed somehow. If you do try it and still get the crash, post the crash from the newer version too.

Since he reported this over at DRD Team, and I noticed it there first, I am going to quote what I wrote over there:

Vista should come with the appropriate debugging modules - you should be able to generate a CrashReport.zip, you will most likely need to post that. Otherwise, Graf [and Randy] may need to know what version you are using.

Additionally, the latest release of GZDoom [and ZDoom] is months old, I don't know if you're using that or not, but if not, I'd suggest trying the SVN builds and see if the crash still exists. As I recall there have been a few that have been fixed since its release.

Since some information is relevant differently here than over there, I put changes in brackets to indicate what is relevant here.

Also, did you get the option to save the crash report as a file called Crashreport.zip? If so, it's much better to simply attach the file rather than upload a copied and pasted bit of it. there is other information in the zip which may be important.

Also also, giving other information such as the version of (G)Zdoom being run, computer specs, any additional files being loaded, that kind of thing, may help as well.

Is the name of the program your running GZDoom.exe or just Zdoom.exe? From the log it appears this is GZDoom.

GZDoom is a fork of ZDoom maintained by Graf Zahl, and its bugs forum is here: http://forum.drdteam.org/viewforum.php?f=24
Although I'm sure he will see it, as he works on ZDoom as well, but for any future problems with GZDoom you should put the bugs on the forum link above.
