This would be a hack no matter how you twist it. In my book hacks don't count as features.

I think it would be useful to make this more customizable. Other than setting the x, y, and z offsets, the only other way to do it is to change the sprite offsets. What are you using it for?

I wrote about a similar subject in the very first thread I made when I joined the zdoom forum, although I didn't ask for the same sorts of features with A_Fire back then. I just asked if it would be possible to use A_Fire with projectiles other than the revenant fireball or the archvile flame. Now it is possible to use it for every projectile that uses +SEEKERMISSILE.

How about a function or action that works like A_Fire, but gives more flexibility? As a decorate action, being able to define the x, y, and z offsets would be nice. If it was an ACS function, also being able to define two TIDs would be great: the thing to stick, and the thing to stick too.
