Yay.

I think they're working on .74 updates now that they've finished Pro 2.01.

Hmmm... thanks for the info.
I've always sort of regretted not donating back in the day, but I had no means to do at the time, so that's life.

I just keep hoping that if I wait around long enough, there'll be an update to .74. Riiiight.

I do have Pro. I donated back when it was all free and have beta tested since Trillian 1.0. Pro does have the features you mentioned. I run into a few more issues than most since I'm still running Win98, but overall I've found it much much more pleasing to use than the clients from each service provider, and on top of that it's skinnable, so I built and use the Solarian skin.

Is it worth buying? Well if you just want your chat client to be less annoying, then no. If you want a bunch of new features to make it more useful and you have an extra $25 with nothing better to do with, most definitely.

Seems like a totally sensible setting to me.

But if you absolutely positively want to turn off this behavior ... it's as easy as going to Tools/Options/Personal and unchecking a clearly labelled checkbox.

(presuming you have pro) Is it worth all the fuss (i.e. the $$)?
I'm still using the freebie, but it's got a few faults that are *really* annoying (e.g. no unicode, and no hyperlinks in profiles).

by Risen » Sun Jan 18, 2004 8:13 pm

Nope. But I use Trillian.

Damn msn

MSN will change your status to Busy when you run any application that takes up the whole screen (ie. ZDoom). I don't think it does this if it's windowed.

by cccp_leha » Sun Jan 18, 2004 4:21 pm

It makes perfect sense: you are busy when you're playing ZDoom.

MSN control?

this might just be me, but msn seems to set my status to BUSY every time I go on zdoom. This happen to anyone else?
