MDK Armory

The MDK Armory is a wad that replaces all the weapons with weapons that do, at minimum, 10,000 damage.

It's not a very high-effort mod, but I like to think it has a special charm, somewhere in there. Something like Russian Overkill is probably better for general stress relief, but this'll make slaughterwads playable to the general populace and otherwise trivialize gameplay that you really just aren't in the mood to fucking deal with, y'know?

There's a hasty credits lump in the wad, mostly because I haven't figured out 100% where all the stuff came from; stuff like the bomb from a very old Xaser wad I just attributed to Xaser, and I think I attributed the pump action to wildweasel although I'm not sure if he made it (I dunno where ww-magop.txt went). I try to not be a piece of shit when it comes to crediting people~

Suggestions and competing "Fuck you!" sounds welcome!

I never wrote one. The mod was never considered finished.

As for that shotgun, I forget where the source image came from, but the Doomification of it was Marty Kirra's, and I just threw together a hasty pumping animation for it.

[edit] Also, the Action Doom AR that's in the mod was also worked on by Snarboo.

I don't think I could do that game justice with a ZDoom mod

I got so excited and was immediately fantasizing about deploying that coil parachute in Doom. Someone must do this now.

Stupidly fun. Sunder is actually playable now. :O

Some things:
- Weapons need proper tags - the rifle still showing "Chaingun" when it's selected looks odd.
- Perhaps remove FORCERADIUSDMG from the rockets to make fights with the boss monsters a little bit more exciting.
- Something about the SpreadDK's animation bothers me. Doesn't look "smooth". Fiddle with the offsets, maybe?
