You guys should check page 56, scroll down and you'll find a download link to the latest Colorful hell Brownbeta#5 version [2020]

As for the mods frontpage, not sure if they're up-to-date, haven't checked.

This is still all kinds of crazy fun to play with multiplayer co-op and, say, Russian Overkill and the highest difficulty settings. "Total Carnage! I love it."
(including some points where the monsters actually still put up a good fight and take a few of us down hot damn)

I'll admit my visual suggestions were poorly presented, I think SpacemanStrife's revenant was a better suggestion for diverse sprites and fits your direction for the mod much better. I made a new one for the mancubus that is much more in line with the mods style and Spaceman's suggestion. You don't have to consider it if you don't want to but since many of the Mancubus sprites are still palette swaps and the white variant is just the queen from Duke Nukem I thought it wouldn't hurt to add it here.


Regarding the new mastermind:
I like the design of the blue mastermind a lot, the only thing i'd suggest is to make her walking sounds more of a loud clank, the ones you have now are too soft for such a large demon.

Brown Spectre:
I'm glad the weird solid corpse bug has been fixed although I feel some additional balancing for him is needed. The brown spectre is much harder to see than most spectres and deals a ridiculous amount of damage, making him a rather frustrating enemy. I think his damage should be reduced and maybe give his attack more of a knock back since that seems to be the main gimmick of brown enemies.

Hello! I have two questions about this mod: Apparently Brown Tiers are "monster support tier", Correct? but what do they support exactly? From what i've played with them, they don't seem to have any support with other monsters, hell, they kill allies more then they help. Am i missing something?

Second topic, is there any way to play this with the "Colorfull Arsenal" addon?
They do have support, healing, buffs and so on, they usually support their own species
I have no idea whats going on with the arsenal, sorry.
Is this Brown Monster called "Sand"?

Dont worry, they are only warnings, lot of em are for checking compatibility between mods as the items dont exists

I have many sprites I dont who made but are for public use, it nacks the back of my head each time I have these situations

Just on the topic of the pallete swaps and re-skins and such, I prefer them as they are! I think all of the colors and skins are very well done and fitting and fit with the arcadey, gamey kinda theme and they shouldn't be made too realistic or have their colors toned down. I've blasted through countless megawads with this mod, and the sight of such a beautiful bevy of bright colors of corpses and blood laying before me after a firefight is one of the highest feelings of satisfaction I've ever achieved within the doom engine. Keep doin what you're doin! A little quality of life change that could be nice though, not necessary but could help with some weaker weaponsets or the default weapons on harder maps, would be a spawn slider for each color. If not that's cool! But would be nice to play harder mapsets without having to stick close to trailblazer or maybe highway drifter.

Fantastic to see this mod is still up and running on modern builds. Makes Slaughter wads insane. I was wondering if you'd be interested in me fixing some of the Grammar in the flavor text? I mean it's not too big of a deal as far as I know, but I just thought a little touch up might be something you'd like.

Another question. Can somebody recommend 3-5 goods singleplayer Doom WAD's that can be combined like WAD + The Guncaster + Colourful Hell?

Recently I played Dark Encounters. A pretty nice megawad that limits you a little bit with ammo acquisition at the first levels. But great to play without being trapped on an insane slaughter map per level.

Also I suggest you TNT Revilution and Community chest 3. Unholy Realms and Going Down to, but they are pretty chaotic and , because I never played Guncaster, I'm not sure how could be affected that mod to the lost of progression.

Well. Guncaster add enough chaotic parts of gameplay itself in case all of types of ammunition, runes and things. Still. At the moment I didn't find better mod which can be compared to Doom like "HeXeReTiC" or "Wrath of Cronos". Which I've found is too complex / or too weak.

I've tried to run it with last path from this topic - game doesn't run. So. Seems to it not required anymore / or not support the last version.

I play around with the mod from time to time, but if their is one thing that seems to bug me between the main version and the beta, the health and armor bonuses- though mostly health I guess, still likes to drop rarely (As much as scarce?) even when I turn the H&A option to none.
I normally keep it off for the reasons of barred-off areas with the vanilla game or mods that have count bonus items on and I am a bit of a level-completionist for the fun of it.
