11 explains it all clearly in a the Time of the Doctor. 10 regenerated twice because he had vanity issues back then.

Also, if we're talking the real season/series 4, how about that regeneration from Hartnell to Troughton.

I was actually talking about how there were two 10s.

But anyway, speaking of cliffhangers, I certainly didn't see that one coming at the almost end of series 8.

I am tempted to switch to a Tom Baker avatar, but Matt has served me well.

Actually, problem solved, everyone switch to a Pertwee avatar. Thus we'll all be expected to behave in a suave, sophisticated manner.

It's a picture of me, why would I change it? Personally I prefer stable avatars.

Technically it's an old photoshop of my face on Neo's torso, but I've worn the same black trenchcoat+outfit combo quite often so it's pretty much all me anyway. Some of the older-timers might remember when I posted the full picture in off-topic.

i remember switching my avatar an obnoxious amount of times before because i was an indecisive jerk. once i created my character though i put her face everywhere on the internet, the only exception being some months ago when i was in a Metroid phase. people won't get confused if it's different pictures of the same character, right?

No, probably not. I do the same thing. That's just updating the picture.

The same happens to me now, it's the same character, just different poses.
