You know what you can do, download the v2.0 and the alternate 1.2 (made later btw) version i linked, rename .pk3 extension .zip, extract and compare content in WinMerge, you'll find about so much changes that it could well be different mods, but one's broken and not the other...

... you can also try to, like someone sayed for original v2.0, extract the wad files from archive's ROOT and delete them then load those extracted instead, it works but not sure it fixes alll.
