Because there is no joke. This is the same stuff as "Damn Daniel" where, when put to task, the meme-flingers have absolutely no idea how to explain the "joke". you can't explain something when there's an absence of that something. Durr Plant.

This is nothing but an "in-joke" that requires layers of "you had to be there" to get. knowyourmeme even explains this. Because most people don't know the many, many "sophisticated layers" of today's dank memes, which really didn't have any "joke" to begin with, this isn't really funny at all. Why? Because there's no coherent natural memetic mutation pattern at all in this. To be a meme, at least an Internet meme, it must have a quality that allows new content to be derived off older content. I suppose photoshopping a frog on a unicycle until it becomes "a thing" qualifies as a meme, but this doesn't even pass that - it wasn't until it was forced through the usual channels - where "let's run this in-joke into the fucking ground" is the name of the game -that this meme got any sort of staying power.

And I doubt it lasts, because "LOL RANDOMXD" Penguin-of-doom memes aren't worth the bytes they're encoded in.

This is the problem with what the kids call "memes" these days - they aren't really funny because nothing is getting changed up, because there's nothing to change! Unlike the navy seal copypasta, a great example of a classic internet meme, we're seeing the same thing being repeated over and over and over, because, hey, that's how all those other memes started, right? But no, that's not how a traditional meme works. That's a toddler playing a cassette tape over and over and over, and wants everyone to hear it.

I have no problem with the dank memes, but what I do have issues with is the tendency with recent memes to be forced everywhere. Which is kind of weird, since memes spread because people voluntarily spread them, right? However, that's usually done due to comedic content (or cute value) and there's nothing here. Nothing. Consider the source of the meme - an account named Testicle.Memes, and tell me this isn't some guy taking the predictable dank memers for a ride.

Maybe it's just the fact that I don't find the current "take stupid thing, take it seriously, and see where it goes" trend very funny. I don't know.

EDIT: No, I'm not trying to "attack" anyone, I'm just confused as heck about how this is at all a "thing". I'm great friends with Nash and this thing friggin' rules, because it's not really celebrating the meme, it's... letting me kill it.

Sort of on topic, but why no one made a 'kill crazy frog' wad in its heyday (for being an embarrassing mobile marketing dorksaster of acquiring an artist's portfolio piece) is beyond me. The best we got is some axel f midi pack from earlier this year.

Shadow Hog: I made it with the latest devbuild installed so yeah you probably need a devbuild to run this. That said, if you're against using devbuilds, I'd say this mod is hardly worth it and you're not missing out much. :D

Everyone else: I put this mod together in like 30 minutes while waiting for breakfast to cook yesterday morning, because I didn't understand why this "meme" spread, I didn't think it was funny, and I figured, "hey maybe there are people who hate this unicycle frog and would love to shoot it to bits" so I put this WAD together! It was nothing serious, I don't care about it, making it didn't make me lose sleep, it's all cool and chill. :D

I know, I like the concept of putting a meme into a WAD, but I didn't think Nash would be the person to do that.
Then again, he did say this was more of a smaller WAD, so I'll give it more points I suppose. 7/10.
