Been playing this with Gun Bonsai, when the China Lake (and presumably the AR and M202) are unlocked, they start out at level 1 instead of carrying over the upgrades of their respective weapons. This should probably go in that mod's thread but it seems to be a compatibility thing on this one's end.

This is because gun bonsai can't really dynamically determine if a weapon has been replaced by another weapon without explicit support added for it.
Here's a quick file to add support for Gun Bonsai to War Rooster so XP should carry over between those weapons, just remember to set weapon upgrades to bind with either inheritance or to the weapon class in the mod options.

The flamethrower projectiles seem to be way off from the crosshair.

I just thought of something: What if there was a second set of upgrades the player could earn from finding all secrets in X number of maps? My suggestion is to make these "Find All Secrets" upgrades be passive character enhancements; things like a melee damage buff, a recoil reduction, a reload speed increase, maybe even a movement speed buff and/or limited health regen.
What do you think?

Since I've enjoyed this mod alot due to being big on Vietnam war era history, I've Made two new weapon sound packs for War Rooster so far. One is from Rising Storm 2 Vietnam and other is from Call Of Duty Black Ops.

Thanks for all the feedback, and sorry for not answering them before.
Soon i'll be moving my files to Google Drive and maybe think about future modding here.
BTW, thanks a lot for the sounds pack! Once i get done with all my link, i'll put those in the main page, i specially liked the BO1 pack more.
