Serious Skulltag

Projects that have specifically been abandoned or considered "dead" get moved here, so people will quit bumping them. If your project has wound up here and it should not be, contact a moderator to have it moved back to the land of the living.

Jesus Christ, you used everything from the MRW and WRW. :? I also doubt you got permission from anyone whose resources (not from either of the resource WADs) are present in that video.

And people don't like to play mods that force you to use god mode against the monsters. So yeah, what's up with the BFG-ball-spamming Quake II monster and the stupidly fast, spawncube-throwing Diabolist?

Uh, yeah, I don't think so, pal. Also, do make sure you get permission, otherwise your mod will make a lot of horrible mods look good.

Also, No. BFG shots should be limited to 1 per minute or 3.

Serious Skulltag? More like Seriously Lame Skulltag. Auto-BFG attacks are just...no, never, never ever.

If you want this to be good, don't make the enemies so ridicules. Maybe have rapid (small) exploding shells if you want it be all rapid fire. Chainguns and plasma guns are always allowed to. But Auto-BFGs and rockets are just insane.

Cripes those monsters are really bordering on SNK-Boss class. To be honest, after seeing the video, I absolutely doubt that even those who enjoyed AEOD would find this mod of yours fun in the slightest.

Hmm... doesn't seem like there's anything here that hasn't already been done (better) by AEoD anyway.

My advice: take up mapping. It's more productive in the long run. ;)

This is the sectret level+2 new monster kamikaze and vulgar!
What's the point in showing a >secret< level? It's supposed to be secret, isnt it? If you show it in a vid, it's no secret anymore.

Those gray imps (soul harvester, i think?) in the video seem to have broken death frames as they stay standing after death. It's looks very bad if you leave it like that and record a video of it.
Do what Xaser says, map instead of decorate or, map first, then decorate just like I did.

People want to see something new with each project, and it's easier to do an original map than to do an original decorate actor.

Also, if your project is going to be based on serious sam, you should rather make lots of weaker enemies appear than several godpowered ones, since serious sam was just like that.

Ugh... That didn't work well. I even threw in AEoD for the fun of it to try and spice things up a notch... Didn't even do it justice.

Try fixing a bunch of things and making it more original, and give credits.
