This is bad. Very bad: The model rips don't look very good, the new enemy is laughable, the new shotgun guy does and takes too much damage and for some really bizarre reason, the ammo balancing is terrible, with all the ammo being given at once, which is not enough to last the rest of the level, weapon redundancy is high, with the balancing being terrible, there's no melee attack for some [censored word] reason, there's no way to tell the needles apart unless you use the full screen hud (don't assume that people use the full screen HUD), some of the casing effects look terrible (pistols and shotgun in particular).
Also, not everyone is on the boards all the time and not everyone is interested in your project.

I was wondering when someone would attempt Crysis weapon rips, not that I was looking forward to it. In my few minutes of playing, I have the following to say:
Not only are the weapon graphics poorly exported, but they also appear too big on screen, like the Assault Rifle. Also, the starting pistols and items have no HUD icons like when you use the alternate full screen HUD. The weapon casings are fake and just part of the weapon sprites themselves. Also, there should always be some sort of backup weapon like a melee attack. After the part where you go through the red door and pass the nukage, I ran out of bullets and died shortly after trying to run from everything. Is the new monster just the giant demon? Is there much of a purpose for it other then to waste ammo on it? There's no music, is this intentional or something to come down the road? It's hard for me to say much about the map itself, since I won't make it very far without cheating. From what I seen so far, it seems standard fare.
Basically, if you added a backup weapon, changed the weapon graphics, changed or remove the giant demon, and fixed the ammo balance, (along with other issues I missed), this could be an ok map. You would also save yourself a lot of trouble by not double posting within like a hour of your earlier posts, especially with something like "how come people are not talking about my project?".
General opinion based on the screenshots: nothing wrong with rips, but they are better used as a base for new sprites rather than leaving them as is. They tend to look terrible and pixelated, while having all sorts of palette issues that make them stand out in a bad way. If you polish them, that would certainly help.
I'm not sure I have the time or want to play this, but I might. I'll get back to you then.

Sorry by the double post.
About the rips, i don´t change. Hirestex is a big crap and i like low-res weapons (remember me old 1990-1999 games). About the rest, i'm trying to do the best.
Yeah. This is bad. It's really bad. For one thing, ammo is pretty much nonexistent. There's really no excuse for how bad it is. There's never enough to take down the enemies, and to make matters worse you can't even use your fists, so once you run out of ammo you're fucked. End of story. Now let's talk about health. Not much to say here, because there's only one health pick up in the entire map. A medikit. You've also got a shot that can restore your health to 100% but you can only use it once... If I didn't know any better, I'd say you playtested this map with idfa and iddqd. The maps are just ugly and extremely frustrating at times. Getting into the vents is a pain in the ass and is almost impossible unless you use the fly cheat. As for the weapons, to put it simply, they look awful. THe spirtes are horribly pixilated and extremely unclean around the edges. The muzzle flashes are just as bad. It looks like you just drew red and white circles with the brush tool in MS paint and then slapped them on the barrels of the guns If you absolutely have to do a model rip, you should really clean it up so it actually looks half decent. The shotgun's ejected shells are messed up. Number one, they're not even the same color as the pick up sprites for the shells. Number two, they havn't been scaled down enough so they are almost as big as the shotgun itself. Also what's up with Betruger's death animation? All it looks like you did was draw a bunch of squigly red lines and random red shapes all over his sprite.

There's a difference between low-res sprites and horrible rips and I feel the current graphics fall under the latter. A highly detailed 3D weapon model for a 2007 game just doesn't look pretty at all ripped and imported as a 2D sprite for an upgraded 1993 game engine. Compare the ripped graphics to those of weapon graphics in Doom or build engine FPS games. Notice how the colors are a lot smoother than what you have. Basically, you have really washed out graphics, especially with the colors. The rips are at a lower standard than the graphic style you say you like. Also, how far can the "It's my work, I do whatever I want with it" argument really go? You may have turned off more than one person from checking this out due to those rips. It may take some work, but if you're gonna insist on going with those particular rips, at least edit the graphics so they fit within Doom's colors.
