If it's not ZDoom, it goes here.

It is a gaming icon of some sort, much like Steam's logo.

It also has a G in it. I liked how it's very simple yet looks pretty neat.

Something I noticed, is every time one of this "explain your avatar" topics comes up, it somehow encourages users to change the avatar just so they can explain it.

Not that I think is something bad or anything, just a bit curious.

EDIT: Typo fixed.

Is it a picture of yourself...?

Well, I'm pretty sure that they can explain their avatar (unless they suck at English or something).
As for the reason, I've no idea. Maybe people seek attention and want other people to realise the avatar change and comment on it, just so they can get positive comments on said avatars?

I think of it as an opportunity for users to be creative. Sometimes there's an interesting story behind it, sometimes not.

Good catch, that's a typo. I meant "can".

Agreed, for example, Zippy. Everytime I notice he has changed avatar, I start to wonder why, because they usually mean something. All Im saying is that overall, I see users changing the avatars more frequently when this threads appear. :P

I guess I like mine too much, hence why it never changes.

Thanks! I do try to be meaningful with them in my own way.

Speaking, it feels like that time again, but I just haven't come up with anything to express with it lately.

I replaced the Evil Big Bird crop-out avatar with the NES Doomguy sprite I made the other day...at an easier-to-view size.

I just found a Duke Nukem action figure with a hilariously un-badass face. :laff:
