Summon Command Compatible with Demo Recording?

Is it possible to summon monsters (or friendly monsters) while recording demos? So far, I have failed to do this.

It's possible. I haven't done it in a while, but I remember a demo with it a while back.

I don't understand what's the problem :shucks:
While you recording a game, open the console and summon(friend) your monster.

The point can be formulated as a feature request: Add possibility to record demos and summon monsters without desync problems or any other kind of problems. I failed doing that, but I guess I just need to try again. :P

Sorry for dumb posting. Using source ports is kinda new for me, so I'm not sure what is possible and what is not. Thanks for answering anyway. I'll be more careful next time.

It worked for cutty when he showed of the Friendly Arch-vile bug. I even still have that demo.
