Since SLADE3 no longer supports Linux/Unix natively, what programs shall be used instead?

Huh? What do you mean "no longer supports Linux natively"? I don't see anything saying that on the SLADE site, the forum thread here, or the Github repository.

Recent releases of Slade have AppImage packages, try them.

To run an AppImage, do this in console, in the directory where you put the downloaded AppImage:

Code: Select all

chmod a+x SLADE.AppImage

Code: Select all

./SLADE.AppImage

If you're OK with the command line and package manager, you can also get SLADE from DRDTeam; they build nightly builds from SLADE's GitHub and also offer a release repository.
