The initial post in this thread has been deleted because OP edited it to include a spam link.
However, seeing as how the thread has a (brief) conversation in it, the other posts have been left intact.
Before editing, the initial post asked the question that is the title of the thread.
UZDoom is a good source port. The current release (4.14.3) is basically GZDoom 4.14.2 with some bug fixes and a few tweaks here and there. I've used it extensively since its release with no significant issues. So, if you are used to GZDoom, then the swap will be easy.
The next version (5.0) will have more extensive changes but some of them will be things that were planned and already in motion for GZDoom.
As for GZDoom, I don't know what Graf has planned for it, but there hasn't been any activity on its GitHub for 2 months now.
[BTW, I moved this topic to a more suitable sub-forum.]

I am going to pay attention to its development (as everyone interested in the project) so when the time comes, I will be switch, with GZDoom as a fallback port. For now, I am using GZDoom but also am looking forward to what UZDoom will provide in the future.
@Enjay: 2 months? I hope it's not anything related to the whole fiasco late last year.

All I know is that the split happened in October and there has been little activity on the GZDoom GitHub since.
I wouldn't want to speak for Graf and I don't know what his future plans are.
