The beloved AVP 2.0 - JDREDALERT's EDITION was somewhat good-enough-to-play when you need that colonial marine or alien or Predator or just AVP so needed fix! But was not finished and was done in a older gzdoom, having fatal crashes and other error on modern GZDoom and UZDoom. Now it's back at full power! Tested and working in GZDoom 4.5.0, GZDoom 4.10.0 and GZDoom 4.12.1. All due credit is by JDREDALERT and other people who build this awesome mod, check for his post too, it will have all the information regarding weapons and abilities and such.
-Xeno Player now can build it's HORDE of xenos by infecting human enemies by grabbing

-Brand new Predator vision like NEVER SEEN BEFORE! This was possible by the shader of Caligari87 made to Hideous Destructor, other than his shader, this was made only by me.
What was changed THIS VERSION:
-Added an option to disable red thermal feature of seeing in pitch blak, for performance reasons, use command: set see_in_dark false to disable.
-Aliens go into ceiling
-Now every type of ally have commands to them.
-Fixed an bug with praetorian player kills

What was changed previously:
-Red Thermal was adjusted to be as bright as green thermal, this mean only that less light will come to your eyes this made as to prevent eye strain.
-Green Thermal has returned to normal, no green tint anymore on the screen
-Red Thermal now functions in pitch black. So you can play with DarkDoom as an shadow predator.
-Predalien now dodges missiles from Predator and marine. Predalien is way more agressive than before and harder to kill. Thanks for sudo min.
-Added scan lines for Blue Thermal and Green Thermal
-New Thermal Vision for Predator.
-Human and robots emit heat, xenos don't, use other vision to hunt the serpents.
-Predator's are now infectable and spawn with 100% certainty of being a PredAlien
-High tier humans have a resistence to your attacks now and you damage was lowered slightly.
-A new difficulty was added. Is the same as the original patch of the JDREDALERT's version of the mod
-Hotfix to not multiply nor add more allies per map change for Marine, Predator and Aliens
-Hotfix to fix the Alien Allies Alive counter
-The Allies status has been repurposed to count if your xenos spawn now are alive or dead.
-PredAlien can't be spawned anymore (that's because predator sprites are not ready yet)
-Note that ChestBuster take 30 secconds to mature and can be killed by enemy fire.
-Player Alien don't have access to only Praetorian_Ally anymore, now you may have your very ally version of most of the alien enemies. That include: Warrior, Drone, Runner and PredAlien. You can spawn any of those depending in the RNG.
-The way you receive allyspawner is by maxing your rage, if you want more you will have to spend the rage max, I was not able to grant allyspawner to every 15 kill do as Alien.
-Also Predator stealth is done with the addon Universal IA Enchanced from the tests I done
-New teleport system made, now Predator, Alien and Marine allies teleport to you when far
-Predator allies are individualistc, expect them to teleport only when really far away.
-You can have up to 12 Alien allies of the Praetorian class
-Versions after this one will not break old save files anymore (although this version do break save files If I remember correctly)
-Base mod doesn't have anymore the textures and custom music, this is done as to make the mod compatible and versatile with other mods and wads.
-Now you can use the textures and custom music of the mod with other mods
-Marine, Alien and Predator now have each a limit of how many allies you can have, also changed where you might get the beacons to call ally from to drop for specific enemies (tip: look for robots).
-Predator and Marine Allies now follow you when map changes
-Predator level up system balanced, it will be not quite drastic as the original patch of the mod but will make the Predator to don't see too damn powerful too quick
-Fixed fatal crash when throwing SmartDisk and CombiStick when playing as Predator
-Balanced ammo and weapon drops by enemies for the Marine Class
-Shotgun is now packing more of a punch
What WILL BE ADDED later:
-Make the Alien class truly imune to all forms of acid from aliens enemies
-Make your Alien Allies be capable of spreading the hive
-Make the marine ally drop from the sky and make it it's beacon only usuable at outside area.
-Integrate Universal Objective System of Vortex to the mod.
-New mechanic to receive weapons in Predator Class by leveling.
-Built-in sprint and walk speed, make it more realistic and methodical for your play or make normal so you can speedblitz in old fashinoed doom style
-More balance fixes based on patch
-I'm open to more suggetions

Remeber always that the mod is now conserved and can work with modern mods, my favorites with the AVP are these ones

-BD_Destructavle_Decorations.
For what I tested it is compatible with old save files of the original mod, now your save files are full glory!
Here the link for my AVP mod, also if you don't have any of those and the mod doesn't work in the latest gzdoom or UZDoom go into GZDoom github and the section of Releases there will be the old versions. (Also note that old GZDoom make more old mods viable, like Brutal Doom Ballistcs that has nothing wrong with it and is finished).
Awesome work, i finally can play the predator and alien without crashes. Will you separated guns and enemies like you seperated the textures and music, so we can used them with other mods?

Never thought that someone would want one just gun and enemies, in any case the enemies that is already one and is called AVP monster pack, the guns I think I will need to butcher a lot since Predator rely on trophies to level up and the mod is balanced around the enemies, when I finish the teleport system I look it up. Also did you mention fatal crash when playing Praetorian? I never encountered that error.

New version available, this is major because ZScript was introduced with the Teleport system, what you need to know what about ZScript is that with him the Alien infecction system is be possible and much easier.
Also I be sharing a new, I'm be setting up a PayPal for donate because the notebook that I'm developing the mod is very weak and is a shared one. So I be needing some money to buy a better notebook, it doesn't help that I'm from a third country too. Other than that after this update the infection mecahic will be added, so stay tuned!
I feel like the Predator leveling could be a little bit faster, not as much as it originally was, but I had to go through like 3+ levels in Ultimate Doom with just the claws because I don't think there were enough enemies. Maybe make secrets give XP too?

I think that problem is more about the predator not having more weapons other than claw rather than the little xp, the level up just increase the damage of the claws... speaking of which I think I can add that actually. Maybe at level 3 or 5 I give a random weapon or other to compensate when the map is too easy and boring (or maybe I just need other attacks of claws other than the altfire and lunge). For now I focusing in the alien mechanic of infecting other enemies. You know stubbs the zombie in rebel without a pulse? The alien will be that, i'm working it's grab now so the next update will be that.

Because as you know predator only have acess to other weapons by killing bad bloods predators

Thanks man! In fact I finishing one part of alien infection system right now. But don't worry because I will give Predator some love too with a new thermal vision and maybe more attacks other than the existing lunge with the claws. After all is done we need a open map for Predator to stalk it's prey, I'm using obsidian to try to make one
I promised you folks and I managed what was deemed simply impossible to JDREDALER and crew. I would thank for helping in the sprites by my friend Abraham Aadam, he also it's working in a novel. When it's ready I send to you guys
