Problems with compiled standalone GZDoom

Post by WickedSchnitzel »

I have managed to get into my standalone game (if one can call it so - just begun modding/ mapping for Doom), but there is no sound. And no music. I have read about having to use libsndfile-1.dll, but gzdoom wanted sndfile.dll, so i have renamed libsndfile-1.dll to sndfile.dll - the error was gone, but as i just said, there is no sound now.

I have also replaced zmusic.dll with the one linked in the Discord news. Did not fix anything.

Also:
-How can i set a custom icon for the exe?

Furthermore i have a lot of missing text strings in the gzdoom app menu (PICKER_REMPARM, PICKER_TAB_MULTI, PICKER_HOST etc).

You have to fetch the DLLs from the official distribution package - they do not get built by the project
