The Lost Media of Doom Modding
With a modding community that's been around so long, surely there's gotta be some mods/WADs that have been lost to time. Anybody know of a mod/Total Conversion/ MegaWAD/etc. that's seemingly disappeared?

There was a big thread about that on Doomworld some times ago, if you're interested: https://www.doomworld.com/forum/topic/1 ... r-history/
Obviously, a lot of stuff was lost over the years. The demise of Compuserve led to the loss of a lot of early pwads that were found on the Compuserve Action Forum.
Things that were hosted on personal websites -- especially when, as was common back in the nineties, those personal websites were hosted by someone's university.

Thanks. I'm admittedly also interested in projects that probably should remain lost, like unpleasant or even offensive WADsGez wrote: ↑Thu Sep 26, 2024 12:03 pm There was a big thread about that on Doomworld some times ago, if you're interested: https://www.doomworld.com/forum/topic/1 ... r-history/
