In GZDoom 4.12.2, the built-in mechanism for deleting save games doesn't seem to work.
If you save your game, the go to the save game/load game menu and try to delete a game with the "delete" key, the game brings up the delete game dialog and it appears to work - the save disappears from the menu.
But if you close the save game/load game menu and re-open it, the save is there again, and if you look in the game directory, the save file is still there too.
It should be noted I have defined a custom save directory in my config file that stores the saves in the source port's main folder (save_dir=saves). Also when playing with mods, I define a more complex save directory in the command line to help me keep track of which save files are for what mod (saves/map_pack_name/gameplay_mod_name).

Since 4.9.0 there is no Save or saveganes folder,
just noticed the misspelling, when unzipping the 7z files
from https://devbuilds.drdteam.org/gzdoom/
However, in the ini file you can specify a dedicated folder for your save games,
from where you can delete unwanted saves.

I just noticed this bug and freaked out a bit. Nice to know it's already been taken care of. I'm guessing the fix will be pushed in the next update?
