Question regarding HDest

Just wondering if there's a way to play one of the numerous PSX doom/final doom mods with HDest, I know it sounds so random and maybe stupid but I just like the mood, ambience, sound effects and music more than regular (PC version) of doom. I tried HDest (latest version at the time of posting) with some mods that turn doom into psx version but so far no success, every time something gets bugged out and it doesn't work. Appreciate any help or answer I could get. Have a nice day.

without manually making the two mods compatible, probably not. I'm sure someone has done it before but I don't know where such a thing might be posted. It can take a serious amount of effort for full compatibility (which may not even be possible without losing some features).

Alternatively you can use the mapset Consolation Prize, which is the PSX Doom levels "sanitized" to work with gameplay mods and such.

Wow, that actually worked. I don't know how it flew under my radar but hey, at last I can enjoy HDest with PSX doom.
