CTD when using Dwelling Sin and Relighting

Is there something that doesn't work right in the latest GZDoom? Post about it here.

CTD when using Dwelling Sin and Relighting

Post by Jarewill »

I apologize if it's the wrong place for this, but it being a CTD instead of a VM abort worries me and it's better to be safe than sorry.

To reproduce it run DOOM2 with Dwelling Sin and Relighting.
The CTD should happen on picking up certain items, I made it work with the chainsaw and rocket launcher secrets in MAP01. (Dwelling Sin replaces them with a reloading kit and a chaingun)
It's also required to run with pickup shadows set to on, otherwise the crash won't happen.

I can't really make heads or tails of the crash report, so I apologize if this topic isn't fit for the bug report thread.

Please post a config that causes the crash and give me more precise info what to do. I can't seem to pick up anything with this mod.

Apologies for that!
The mod changes picking up mechanics to require looking directly at an item and pressing the use key.

I tried with a brand new install of GZDoom with a fresh .ini on devbuild gzdoom-x64-g4.11pre-206-g71d4eb66f from June 29.
Picking up the reloading kit (replacing the chainsaw in MAP01 of Doom 2) crashes the game.
