If you were a mod on Discord you would know that I had a friend who I communicated through, this was a lie. I don't have any friends. But since my own Discord account got banned on there, I well... had to lie.

I genuinely am sorry about this

However, if you guys ban me here on the forum then just know. Many users joined thanks to me (since I talked to the mods on Discord to fix the Register button).
So yeah...

Please forgive me, I literally had no other choice.

I wish you hadn't done this. It makes me upset that you lied instead of choosing literally any other way to appeal your ban honestly. Now I'll constantly be wondering what else you might do to evade or subvert moderation.

But what's done is done, and I see no logic in re-banning. Just be better in the future.

TLDR: I didn't know that it was possible to appeal the ban & I am happy that I'm not getting banned.


Paragraph 1. I didn't even know that there was a way to appeal the ban (lol), if it was through the forums then... Well, I wouldn't be able to do it since the "Register" button was missing.
Paragraph 2. Thanks, I was kinda nervous writing the confession, since it could have meant that my (almost) shiny new ZDoom Forums account would be banned. But luckily I went with the morally correct option (confessing).

I am creating this extra topic since, the first one was locked, and I wanted to give some extra info.

You do not need to give extra info. The situation is over, I had nearly forgotten about it until now, and continuing to bring it up only annoys me. Also, making new threads to continue locked threads is against the forum rules.

If you absolutely positively are compelled to talk about it, message me directly instead. But I'd prefer we all just move on and you become a productive and interesting member of the community, instead of "that guy who wouldn't shut up about his ban evasion."
