Crash when applying brutal doom and relighting.
I'm playing with the mod applied, but it crashes. I'm not sure why, but when I play with Brutal Doom and the relighting mod, it crashes intermittently.
The mod I applied is:

https://www.moddb.com/mods/relighting

Re: Crash when applying brutal doom and relighting.
Obviously those three are not the only mods which you have loaded.
Not every mod will plays nice, it all depends how the mod was constructed.

Re: Crash when applying brutal doom and relighting.
At first, I thought it was because I added so many mods, but as a result of testing again, a crash occurs as shown below.
The tested version is version 4.10.0 and the tested map is Doom 2 MAP30.
I don't know what's wrong.
My computer specs are i7-10700k / 16GB RAM / GTX1060 6GB.

I tested it, opengl is fine, but crashes only with the vulkan renderer. It gives me peace of mind knowing that I can now play safely.
Re: Crash when applying brutal doom and relighting.
Tested again, same crash in opengl. What could be the problem?
Re: Crash when applying brutal doom and relighting.
gzdoom-x64-g4.11pre-174-g86bc9cafd.7z
Glad it was fixed in this version. Thank you.

Re: Crash when applying brutal doom and relighting.
It seemed that the crash would not occur in the latest developer version, but the crash did not occur for about 10 minutes, and then the crash occurred after 20 to 30 minutes.

Well you know what to do. Attach the crash report and make sure you are only loading in BD and the relighting mod and nothing else.

Re: Crash when applying brutal doom and relighting.
That happens to me too but with brutal doom platinum edition.
This is the crash report https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Xd_YvZ ... sp=sharing
I'm using GZDoom 4.10.0, Brutal Doom Platinum 3.1.1 and crashes from relighting 4.0160b to 4.01631b.
Crashes moustly when something explodes, barrels or a granade infront of me.
Using Relighting 3.37 there is no problem.
If I run the gzdoom using windows 8 compatibility mode, never crashes, performance goes down, but never crashes.

Re: Crash when applying brutal doom and relighting.
I tested again but not using release 4.10.0 of gzdoom, instead I used 4.11 beta version and have no crashes using Platinum Edition and Last Relighting version. Access violation was because the version of gzdoom.
