What the title says, let me know which custom monster you want to see a remake/remaster/resprite, to give it another chance and bring full potential.
I personally want to see these Lil' White Mouse monsters back in action with a facelift. They are unique boss variants that aren't your average Cyberdemon/Spider Mastermind edits and have unique awesome sprites and potential, however, watching them again makes me see these sprites haven't aged well as we can say.
While LWM won't return back to the Doom community scene, I would want to see somebody make a brand new take on these three with better graphics similar to Amuscaria or DrPyspy rendering method.
The Hell's Battery
The Hammer Hound
...and the Scorpion Mastermind

All three are good. My personal favourite of them is the hound - mostly from a behaviour point of view. I like LWM's graphical style, it really helped give a uniqueness to her mods, but the renderings aren't consistent with more traditional Doom spriting, so they can stand out alongside other Doom resources.

Them three are good... code wise.Enjay wrote: ↑Mon Mar 27, 2023 10:44 am All three are good. My personal favourite of them is the hound - mostly from a behaviour point of view. That's the problem. Just compare the Hell Battery for example next to a newer-made sprite like Amuscaria's Hell Duke from Hell-Forged, and you'll see the heavy difference.Enjay wrote:the renderings aren't consistent with more traditional Doom spriting

I honestly want to see Hell's Battery out of the three most of all... Hound is a close second.

Not a remake per se, but rather a sprite fixing project involving all the monsters in the R667 repository, specifically the zombie enemies so that they're given the rest of their sprite rotations. Quite ambitious though.

I did the one-armed zombie for my Waterlab map. Someone did ask if they could use the sprites and upload them to R667 but I don't think it actually happened. They aren't the best sprite edits (I'm not an artist) but at least which arm the zombie has missing no longer switches from side to side as he moves around.
