Hello.
Right now, all cutscene audio seems to be controlled by the music volume slider.
This is probably isn't much of a problem for people who like to listen to the in-game music, but i usually keep the music muted, and listen to my own music.
As you can guess, this results in all cutscene audio being muted as well.
While i don't really know of any mods that make use of cutscenes at this time, i imagine this could become annoying to deal with if cutscenes see wider use.
Therefore, i'd suggest either giving cutscene audio its own volume slider, or having it be controlled by the sound volume slider. Either way would be acceptable.
Ungroup cutscene audio from the music volume slider.

Cutscenes should definitely have its own slider, IMO.

Re: Ungroup cutscene audio from the music volume slider.
I'm curious how this would ultimately work out. A separate slider for cutscene audio tracks (vpx+ogg, smk, etc) makes sense in either case (it will need an update the streaming interface to not assume it's music; doable will a bit of work), but such audio tracks tend to have a mix of music and effects. So if you're someone who likes to mute in-game music and play something in the background, not having the cutscene muted will cause its music to clash with your own music. But having it muted will cause any speech/effects it may or may not have to also be muted. I'm not sure how to really deal with that.

Could the cutscenes have two separate specifiable tracks to play, one for sound effects, voices etc., and the other for music, both using the two existing sliders' values? What the modder puts in them or whether they both get used is up to them.

Let's not overcomplicate things. Normally, if you play a movie the sound will be carefully mixed to sound right - it generally makes zero sense to use differenr volume for dialogue and music.
A separate 'cutscene volume' makes the most sense here.
