I was just wondering what wad, or anything in all of doom that you've ever seen contains the most secrets, for a single map, and how many? Just want to know if anything topped my 46 secrets wad...

wad...
Well I think most megawads and multiple level wads beat 46 secrets quite easily. (Especially Enjay ZDoom, which seems to average at 5 a level)

I mean for 1 map
Not an entire wad. Just 1 map from a wad.

There was one old map from 1994/1995, replacing E2M1, and I think that came close (30-some secrets?)

Whichever Mock2 map it was where every sector that you could walk into was a secret.

Wasn't that MAP23, The Electric Duck Experience? That has about 57 secrets, I think.

Haha, Mock2 is your daddy!
Yes, one map did have every sector tagged as secret, or at least half the map at any rate. There was this huge corridor with crushers falling down behind you and you just hurry along as the game goes DONNN DONNN DONNN DONNN DONNN. Sweet stuff!

I think MoD has completely owned all of you with his "crappything" wad. It had over 100 secrets, IIRC, complete with a brand new secret sound.
But yes, Mock2 is still billions of times more awesome, period.

You know I tried Mock2 last night, and I didn't really find it funny at all.

It takes some understanding of where they're coming from, really.

Exactly what he said. Know where they are coming from. Die with the frustration that you feel on map 07

That? They simply made a skybox with scrolling walls and made it so all the walls in the level showed the sky.
