This bug came from the original game, so I hope you don't consider it out of scope to fix it.
In Exhumed, when you first pick up an M-60, it has 24 bullets. I think it's supposed to have 30, because whichever ammo belt you pick up next, it has 6 more bullets than normally. I.e., if you pick up a short belt (which in the rest of the game gives you 60 bullets), it gives you 66 bullets. If you pick up a long belt (which in the rest of the game gives you 120 bullets), it gives you 126 bullets.
Of course, if you don't spend these 24 bullets (from the picked-up M-60) until you pick up the first ammo belt, then the net result is the same. But when your ammo pool is either 24 or 30 bullets, these 6 bullets really make a difference, so I think that it should be fixed, if possible.
