If Doomguy doesn’t want to disappoint his baby Cacodemon, he’s going to have to jingle all the way across the galaxy for some ultra-last-minute shopping. Of course, getting his hands on the last remaining DBK figurines might require getting a little aggressive—especially when there's an intergalactic shopping frenzy breaking out! Go elbow-to-elbow with toy-scalping alien bastards, merchandise-mad Spaceballs, and the universe's deadliest Christmas tree in DBK02: The DBK Holiday Special!
The DBK Holiday Special is a 11+2 map Christmas adventure from the December Bastards Krew, which takes the holiday season into the darkest reaches of outer space. Fans of Alien Bastards! and Spaceballs: The Sequel should be particularly interested in this one!
DBK02 runs on the Doom2 IWAD, targeting ZDoom 2.8.1. It has also been tested with recent GZDoom versions. We wanted to get this out by Christmas Eve, so expect one more extra-special map coming soon, along with difficulty settings! Send in those bug reports as well.

Swimming: Required--if not using freelook, make sure to have swim up/down controls bound

Hope you can make it onboard Endless! A short 5min piece is more than acceptable, doesn’t need to be War and Peace.
Just to expand a little on the maps in the respack: In the resource pack you’ll find a MAP01 which acts as a display piece for all of the custom monsters and objects, as well as some potential location themes, and also has some gameplay to it. It’s recommended for prospective mappers to go through this map from start to finish, will take roughly 5mins.
MAP02 is a short fully playable map by gaspe that shows off classic Doomy gameplay and layout in a ZDoom context. Maps of this length are more than acceptable, and welcome, as it’s nice to get bite size pieces to break up the lengthier efforts some of us DBK old heads are known for.
A note about consistency is that we’d like all green and orange nukage to be damaging.
The GUIDE lump in the resource wad that Bill mentioned also contains some important useful info about texture theme groupings. There are a substantial amount in the pack, but have been broken up and prefixed to make it easy to quickly move around the texture selection box in the editor. The prefixes and relevant groups are listed in the GUIDE lump.

The DB Krew were working, on their latest opus.
They had brainstormed a theme, to make our hearts race,
Big Ol' Billy said, "This time, we'll head out to space!"
"A quest for action figures, will be a nice jaunt,
Doomguy will hunt toys, until he is gaunt!"
To Slade and Doom Builder, the DB Krew sped,
While visions of Cacowards, danced in their heads.
