Raze 1.2.1 crashes on Linux after playing for a while

Post by Gen5lock131 »

I'm getting a weird crash on Manjaro after playing for about 5-10 seconds. The crash seems to happen only after the game starts and not when in the main menu. This is happening in both Shadow Warrior and Exhumed. This both are the only ones I have installed atm.

I have annexed the crash log.

Thanks in advance for any help you guys can provide me :)

Not sure what would be causing this for you as I haven't been able to reproduce, but can you please try `testnewrenderer 1` from the console? It'd be interesting to know whether the new renderer in testing has the problem or not for you.

It crashes while rendering a model. That isn't implemented yet in the new renderer and the Polymost model code also has its issues.
So the important question now is, what model pack are you using?

That's my mistake. I saw the call to polymost_mddraw but thought maybe a voxel was calling that. I now see that there's a polymost_voxdraw function.

This has been isolated and resolved in a work branch, it'll be in master in the coming days.
