Poison damage is a hard coded property.

The mushroom clouds contain a lot of special coding to work so there is no real chance of making this available.

If you want a poisoning projectile, inherit from CStaffMissile. That one has poison damage. But keep in mind that poison damage from projectiles only affects players, not monsters

speaking of 'clouds'

how do i make a thing that rises instead of floating? (like a bullet puff)

and is there a codepointer for this? because i made a 'projectile type bullet instead of instant hits' and they dont rise when they hit (because they turn into puffs when they die).

Code: Select all

E.G.

states
{
  Spawn:
       TNT1 A -1
       Loop
  Death:
       PUFF A 5 Bright
       PUFF BCD 5
       Stop
}

There isn't a code pointer but you can use the ThrustThingZ action special to give an object vertical thrust.
