Blood Textures Replacing Stock Doom2 Textures
This simply replaces the stock Doom textures and flats with a variety of spookified textures and sounds to create a different setting.
It's essentially a slew of Blood textures and a few Doom64 textures, combined to make a vast change of scenery for maps using Stock Doom2 resources.
I tested this with LZDoom and it should be compatible with ZDoom based ports. There are no gameplay changes or anything like that but I did replace the zombieman sounds with hilarious Half Life sounds. So it's compatible with all varieties of mods.
Personally I found that maps such as "UnAligned2: Unnecessary", "Texture Extravaganza", "Doomworld Mega Project", or anything that uses predominantly stock Doom2 resources seems less jarring with this graphic patch.
I find the best visual appearance for this is OpenGl using the Palette Postprocessing and shadow maps set to high but that's just my preference.

Version 2 contains just Texture / Flat replacement

Feel free to leave criticism, comments, praise, whatever.

Monolith for the Blood textures / flats
Monolith for the Music which replaces the standard Doom2 music.
Midway / id for the Doom64 textures / flats
Rogue Entertainment for the Tree Sprites
Valve for a handful of sound effects (the Zombieman sfx idea was from Linguica's post over at Doomworld which replaced all sound effects with Half Life's.)

Re: Blood Textures Replacing Stock Doom2 Textures
Loving the mood this sets! Though the very friendly greeting the zombies say are a bit amusing considering the rest of the artstyle lol.
Interestingly, I've been thinking about doing a sort of Sprite replacement mod making monsters more "Gothic" looking, which would compliment this. Maybe I can get on that.
This is really cool, though. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for the kind words! I've really been enjoying playing through the old classics using this
and thought I'd share it with all you wonderful people. It makes the original games feel much eerier and
gives the game a different vibe without changing any of it's core mechanics.
I think a gothic style of enemies would fit this very well, if you haven't started it yet I think you definitely should!
Thanks again.

Maybe split the sounds and music into separate wads. Texture swaps are nice and non-intrusive for the most part. Less so with the other stuff.

That's a valid point.
Although I prefer it with the sound, I've made a secondary version which is posted in the OP that simply acts as a texture swap.
Thanks for the feedback.

This is some great stuff! I've tested it on a randomly generated mapset, and it looks really nice.
Spoiler:I'll definitely be keeping an eye for more texture replacers from you

Thanks! Glad you're enjoying it. I find Oblige does make some interesting maps that tend to work well
with this texture swapper as well.

Thanks, yeah I really enjoyed playing through some of the old IWADS with this a lot.
Although I hadn't considered it before, I may tinker with those at some point and possibly add on to this.

Re: Blood Textures Replacing Stock Doom2 Textures
Well, After playing with the Texture pack, Some of the Textures feel out of place
I asked a few friends of mine [10] and they feel the same way (They don't use ZDF or Discord)
