Why is the water not showing up in Hedon ? I am using the GZ doom that came with Hedon. GZDoom g4.0.0. I am also getting black textures wherever there is water.

It only appears that way because the texture for the water surface is very bright and translucent. If you lower the floors of the lake and the control sector and then look up, you can see the water surface.

No, there should be water there. The only time I've seen something similar to this was from users with old ATI cards, they got no water and glitchy black textures.Kappes Buur wrote:It only appears that way because the texture for the water surface is very bright and translucent. I'm not entirely sure how this might be fixed since maltman seems to have tried running with both GZDoom 3.4.1 and 4.0.0

Guess what?
I updated my drivers and it works great now. Sorry for the shitty post. I got the hint it was my graphics card drivers when I changed rendering mode to software rendering and it all looked perfect.
I freaking love Hedon by the way. I just got past the big flying chick boss that appears about half way through the game. This is more fun than most FPS games I've played. I got so god damn stuck during map 2 and later in the library in the big tree where you need to find the secret behind the hidden bookcase to progress. 0/10 lazy dev.
