Hi,
I'm running GZDoom v3.5.1 on Ubuntu Mate 18.04 on a 4 year old Asus PC with and AMD Processor with integrated Radeon Graphics. It was a trash find so don't judge! GZdoom runs great, and I've even gotten Brutal Doom to work! When I first installed GZDoom, a menu would come up asking which wad to load. I have several, but was only interested in running the original DOOM, so I deactivated that menu. Now that I want to explore the other WADs, I can't because the menu is gone. How do I get it back? Even though I've been using Linux on and off for years, there's a lot I still don't know! So I'm hoping someone here can help me out.

If you want help you're going to have to provide lots of info. Like what is your hardware, what is your operating system, what version of GZDoom/LZDoom/whatever you're using, what mods you're loading, how you're loading it, what you've already tried for fixing the problem, and anything else that is even remotely relevant to the problem.
We can't magically figure out what it is if you're going to be vague, and if we feel like you're just wasting our time with guessing games we will act like that's what you're really doing and won't help you.

Does typing 'queryiwad true' in the console and restarting GZDoom help?

The [wiki]IWAD selection box[/wiki] can be brought up again by holding the shift key while GZDoom starts. Consider also using a [wiki]frontend[/wiki] that makes it easier to use the various startup options like IWAD selection.

I really like the idea of a launcher or frontend. However, I have yet to locate one that is native to Linux. I will keep looking, but for now I'm just happy to have selection box back!
