Okay Whenever I play with a wad it goes kabonkers on me then it goes to the desktop and every thing is wierd! (Res gone mad lets say!) then
when you click on it down on the taskbar everything is fine then 15 sec's
later it does it again!

please help it's as annoying as hell for it to do that then click on the taskbar bottun then after 15 sec's do all over again
it's hard to play and enjoy.
BTW:I'm going to check if it does it with no wads.
Edit:it doesnt seem to do it unless I have a wad with it.
Thanks!

Are you sure you don't have anohter program running in the background that might be causing your comp to jump out of zdoom? Check the taskmanager next time you try to see.

Okay
1.It does do it with out any wads
2.Not because of to much sounds (still sound might be causing it)
3.Does it with wads in it
4.tryed reinstalling still does it
5.did a spyware check and nothing is running in the background
So whats going on? I hope it can be fixed

It doesn't have to be spyware. It could be anything you have running. ZDoom should not go to the background unless something else puts itself in the foreground or you alt-tab away.

Wallpaper changer? Messenger program? Something that autoupdates? Scheduled program? Desktop toy? Something playing music? Over enthusiastic virus checker?...

It does sound like a program is stealing ZDoom's focus. Try running it in a window instead of full screen. If anything steals your focus after that, it won't give your computer a seizure. I don't run Zdoom on my computer when it's booting up because fax monitor runs and steals the focus from whatever task I have (I should post around to see if there's a way to fix that prob with Fax Monitor... I don't even USE my modem, and the only way I've discovered to remove it is by taking out my modem and reinstalling- a pain in the ass)
