[WIP] Wolfentroid: Dreadnought

Post by Sgt. Shivers »

Wolfentroid: Dreadnought is a very WIP mod that I've been plinking away at. At the moment it's little more than a skin for Metroid: Dreadnought but I aim to revamp the weapons, enemies and (hopefully) put a few maps together for it.

The current mod is pretty barebones but mostly playable. The basic beams, missiles and super-missiles all work moderately well and the player sounds have been revamped.
Here's some screenshots:
Spoiler:
And a preview of the beams (including the unfinished doom cannon and chromastorm)

Here is a very very early version for download: https://www.dropbox.com/s/61vid1yus9m31 ... 1.pk3?dl=0
There are probably a lot of bugs, but the only ones I really know about at the moment are the Charge Combos not working and the item fanfare being too long.

I hope you enjoy this little thing I'm putting together, the final product should be pretty neat!

Both bizarre and super cool at the same time. I'm excited for this project. Being decoupled from Metroid, that allows for a lot of creative freedom to expand the mod and its mechanics in a way that wouldn't seem appropriate otherwise.
