ZDoom

Hi all,

I didn't manage to find this elsewhere in the forum so...

I recently downloaded zdoom and the launcher. When I press the launch button nothing happens at all, not even an error message.

Is this common? is their a solution?

Zdoom works on it's own when I don't use the launcher but I don't know how to load a wad file from within the game?

Any help wuold be appreciated.

Maybe the launcher has to be configured to know where zdoom.exe is (what folder).

You cannot load a wad file from within the game, you have to load the wad file at startup. One way is to drag and drop the wad file onto zdoom.exe. Or, from the command prompt, type "zdoom -file mywad.wad". Or, make a shortcut to zdoom.exe and edit the properties of the shortcut, adding the -file argument to the target.

If its my launcher (ZDL) its a known problem that i'm not sure how to fix (as i'm not sure what causes it)
