Saw so many "play as demons" mods on youtube, forums and other pages? Got bored of playing as regular monsters with weak attacks but still want something to play with other than doomguy?
HELLO, you've come to the right place. ToughGuyDemon is name of my mod I created for myself but then decided to upload for all of you that want something new. Works with ZDoom, doesn't work with skulltag.

P.S. I haven't seen anyone made playable monsters for doom mod like this one so please tell me what you think about it. No rude comments please. :D
P.S.S. This is experimental mod, if it gets positive comments I might go learn more about this stuff and add more.

Before I get into things to fix I'm gonna say that I like this set-up, so I'm hoping that there's gonna be additional monsters added to the list. Now then, onto bug things.

- Found almost instantly, if you pick up another weapon as one of the demons you aren't able to reclaim your original demon weapon.
- This suffers the same problem I've seen with other monster mods, you made the classes too big to get into some places, example: going into the outdoor secret in Entryway.
- Is there any reason to use the Hell Knight? The Cyber Baron seems to be a direct upgrade.
- The Afrit's primary fire does what exactly? Spread the fire which is always underneath him? And on that, the fire is an interesting idea, but seems ridiculous that it can kill basic enemies by just going over and hugging them.
- If you do take this further, perhaps add upgrades or powerups for the demons? It's kinda tedious trying to take down a cyberdemon with some of them.

Yeah, It's not polished I know that but I just wondered what would community say about that. I'm not that into modding doom i started doing on this mod this week and before that i had absolutely no idea about modding so I'm still learning.
1. I know that picking up weapons switches and, therefore, you lose original weapon and I don't know how to fix that currently. I could easily put actor flag "dontpickup" but then you can't pick up keys :/
2. I can modify class height and radius to be as doomguy's so you can pass through doors and all preserving the original skin of the monster(reason that it doesn't work on skulltag)
3. LoL I know, but I saw empathy and some other (rather lousy) mods only having baron of hell(besides hellspawn) so I kind of wanted to put him.
4. At first he had yellow baronball+fire primary and comet+fire secondary but then I thought: hey I should totally nerf Afrit xD I'll put back original primary :D
5. I know I've been thinking about that but I'm still learning to do this I'm a complete newbie in using slade, decorate...I'm working on it but I have to study for college too.

'master of disguise'

p.s I always wanted a mod were you can shift between marine and demon

I'm thinking about making like mini-bosses playable classes like it's now set and adding as powerups like demon runes that then morph you into one of the bigger bosses for some time
to be able to defeat bigger bosses like cyberdemon or mastermind. Only problem is that I can't find other sources for new bestiary to put into mod than realm 667 and they don't have much content there :|
